Hello I'm Cammy!
Born March 15th🎂
And I use She/her pronouns🌸

About me personally

I was born on March 15th. My biggest interest is Japan. I love Japanese history, culture, fashion, politics, music etc so much!

My beliefs

Some of my beliefs
I wouldn't call myself religious, but I am interested in theology (Especially Shinto).⛩️🛐 I like the royal family of Japan and their history!

The chrysanthemum, which is a symbol of the Japanese imperial family.

Some of my inspirations and role models!

Murasaki Shikibu
Murasaki Shikibu is the author of the oldest novel in the world (The tale of Genji) She wrote many works and poems too, today her story (the tale of Genji) is studied throughout the world, and her legacy lives on.

Empress Kōken/Shōtoku
She reigned twice once as Kōken, then as Shōtoku.
Kōken/Shōtoku was a powerful (possibly THE most powerful) female emperor in Japanese history. Kōken became empress at 21, in a rare turn of events her father named her the crown princess, she is the only woman to rule, who has achieved this title. In my eyes the "Wu Zetian" of Japan. Under her first reign as Empress Kōken, she was a puppet for her mother (the empress dowager Kōmyō). Kōken would abdicate and after a rebellion retake the throne as Empress Shōtoku. She achieved great power, unprecedented at the time. Her reign is full of conspiracy, plots, power, and murder. But throughout it she never gave up. There are rumours she was in love with a monk named "Dōkyo" but these are just rumors.

Empress Dowager Kōmyō
The mother of Empress Kōken/Shōtoku. She was a very powerful figure, she had the title "Kōgō" bestowed upon her, so her children would be prioritised in the line of succession. She was very active politically and had a great deal of influence. She was also very charitable and also helped with the growth of Buddhism in the Japanese court. As such she is remembered favourably but Japanese Buddhists.

Aiko, The Princess Toshi
An educated woman, Aiko used to have an eating disorder, and rumoured mental health problems. Yet Aiko overcame those problems, and even started working for the Red Cross Society. Aiko is the eldest daughter of the current Japanese emperor, Naruhito, and his wife the empress, Masako.

Empress Masako

Empress Masako went throughout many hardships. She suffered poor mental health, and this all boiled down when she had a miscarriage. She retreated from public life, however when she emerged she was happier. Masako pushed through, got the help she needed, and came out on top! I admire her for that.

Miki Matsubara

Miki is my favourite singer ever!! Little is known about her personal life however, but her music really resonates with me. Unfortunately, in 2004, Miki passed away of cancer at age 44.

Yoko Nagayama

My second favourite singer! Yoko Nagayama at first wanted to do Enka. However Yoko was told by her handlers that she couldn't as she was too young. So she did J-pop at first instead. However in 1993 when she switched to Enka she did very well! Her song Suterarete became a hit! Her song "Jonkara Onna Bushi" was her biggest hit, and she has performed it many times since. She regularly presents enka programmes on Japanese TV. Today, Yoko has her own Enka TV channel!

Ayako Fuchigami

Ayako is the first openly trans person to hold a prefectural assembly position in Japan. She represents the Higashi-ku region. During the 2019 Hokkaido prefectural election Ayako was endorsed by the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan as their candidate. Ayako won the seat with 18,372 votes! During the 2023 Hokkaido prefectural election she won with 24,986 votes!! Ayako works on local issues such as road safety, LGBTQIA+ rights, gender issues, and more!

Hisako, the Princess Takamado
A hard worker who has represented Japan on many occasions both abroad and in the nation itself. Hisako is known to be a very kind and humble person, something that I admire.

Emperor Naruhito
An inspiration and an example of how an old culture such as Japan can adapt so well. He has done so much work, and is very deserving of his role as Emperor.

And many many more.
I can't mention everyone, but there is a lot of people in life that I look up to.
